Your best bet is to leave the berries for the birds. Having berry bushes is a great way to attract birds to your backyard. If there are lots of berries you might even be visited by deer. My uncle lives up in in the tip of Idaho. A couple of years ago he sent us pics of a pair of young adult moose that came up to the porch of his house. While you will be missed here in Ansteorra, I think that if you watch carefully, you will get to see some really amazing things.
